STudy abroad
I spent my Fall 2013 semester in Dublin, Ireland. While in Ireland, I completed over 240 hours of community service working for Jobcare, a charity organization that works to get unemployed people resources. Because of the economic downfall in 2008 in Ireland, the unemployment rate for the country is still in double-digits. Jobcare works to give people job training and networking opportunities. I worked alongside Microsoft employees and professional career coaches as a facilitator for a program that provides these experiences for the unemployed. I also studied Humanities and Social Sciences at Dublin City University on the north side of the city.
I used my time abroad to travel across Europe, studying the various historical cultures across the continent.
